High energy, big impact instrumental guitar rock at its best. The Alien Cowboys deliver a CD that's refreshingly simple in today's world of over produced rock CD's. This is straight ahead instrumental hard rock. While listening to this, I get the feeling that the guys were laughing and having a great time while recording, and that happy go lucky feeling translates through the music with ease. The guitar playing of Ralph Perucci reminds me a lot of Steve Lukather. I think Ralph is the kind of player who could sit in with anybody, no matter what their style of rock is, and jam with the best of them. While there isn't a lot of Shred here, the songs are very well written, and the production is also great. Yeee-ha!
