Remember that band from the early 80's that called themselves
"UK"? They sported a guitarist by the name of Allan Holdsworth.
You swore that this guy was going to become a legend for
his creativity; doing things that nobody else was doing
at that time? Well UK fans, let me introduce you to Waldon
Reed Jr.
Everytime I listen to a new track, I hear more and more
Holdsworth here. But the sound of his guitar is very thick
and full, like that of a Scott Henderson. This is not a
CD of heavily over-driven Marshall Ax7 tubes, but it is
about shred. Waldon's soloing is fast and furious. Oh, and
did I forget to mention CLEAN! Here at the House of Shred,
we receive so many Indie CD's that we simply don't review
because while they are full of speed and soaring fretwork,
they are sloppy and therefore not worth reviewing. This
is NOT one of those CD's. So, if you just want to hear virtuoso
shredding of the CLEAN kind, this is a CD for you!
