Ten Years ago, Annihilator gained prominence by releasing the critically acclaimed album Alice In Hell. Now, led by talented guitarist/songwriter Jeff Waters, Annihilator returns with Criteria For A Black Widow, a heavy, rockin' collection of catchy metal tunes.

Vocalist Randy Rampage is back fronting the band along with drummer Ray Hartmann, guitarist Dave Davis, bassist Russell Bergquist and Alice In Hell lyricist John Bates and his dark prose. Waters remains the heart and soul of Annihilator and it shows on tunes like "Bloodbath," "Punctured," and the instrumental "Schizos (Are Never Alone) Part III."

Musically, this is arguably the heaviest album Annihilator has ever made as Rampage's angry growl is as prominent as ever, especially on songs like "Criteria For A Black Widow" and "Sonic Homicide." Mix that with heavy Maiden/Priest like riffs, Waters' shredding solos, Hartmann's thunder drums and a ton of balls and attitude and you've got a winning combination. For a steady Metal fix, pick up a copy of Criteria For A Black Widow and don't look back!
