ESP is a really fun album of hard rockin' 70's covers as former KISS drummer Eric Singer gathered a few of his friends to pay tribute to the music they know & love. Being one of the best drummers around, Singer provides the backbone for this disc with his thunder drumming and strong vocals. Aside from KISS, Singer's resume is quite impressive, having worked with an array of Rock N' Roll legends such as Gary Moore, Black Sabbath, Badlands, Brian May, Alice Cooper, among others. The man has some serious drum chops, and he shows them off on this disc.

Joining Singer are fellow KISS alumni Bruce Kulick (who's a stellar shredder in his own right), former Motley Crue frontman and Kulick's bandmate in Union, John Corabi, and last but not least guitarist/bassist Karl Cochran (Ace Frehley/Joe Lynn Turner). On a side note, Cochran also co-wrote "Into The Void" with Ace Frehley for KISS's Psycho Circus CD. Hell, I'd buy this disc just on credentials alone, but there's more to it. These songs rock! Cochran, Corabi and Singer trade vocals while they all trade instruments on a song-by-song basis. And the fact that these guys had a ton of fun recording them reflects in the songs, thus creating a fresh sound for them.

Here's the track-by-track review:
1. Teenage Nervous Breakdown (Nazareth) - A great remake of the Nazareth Classic. Eric Singer provides the raspy lead vocals and it features a great solo from Kulick.
2. Four Day Creep (Humble Pie) - Guitars galore as Kulick & Cochran go at it. Singer, Cochran and Corabi share the bluesy vocals on this one. It works.
3. Free Ride (Edgar Winter) - Another rockin' tune that you all should now. Cochran & Kulick trade SICK leads. Get this, Corabi's playing the bass.
4. Still Alive & Well (Johnny Winter) - Winter & Derringer played by Kulick & Cochran who provides the vocals as well. The Guitar duels make the song.
5. Never Before (Deep Purple) - Cochran pays homage to one of his heroes, Ritchie Blackmore which he does very well in a really obscure tune. What a great song though. Corabi sounds great.
6. Goin' Blind (KISS) - (MetalGod's Pick) Singer's vocal harmonies make this classic, which happens to be one of my favorite songs ever. Great rendition, awesome Kulick solo!
7. Set Me Free (Sweet) - Great Drum song. A bit funky like the original, but way cool. Singer tackles the lead vocals with Corabi rippin' on the bass and the Kulick/Cochran dual Axe-Attack.
8. Changes (Jimi Hendrix) - Corchran doing his best Hendrix impression, great Guitar work by Kulick.
9. SOS (Too Bad) (Aerosmith) - This just plain out rocks!! Check out Corabi doing Tyler, it's great!!
10. Foxy Lady (Jimi Hendrix) - Ace Frehley provides the scorching Lead Guitars here with an awesome trademark solo. This tune is worth the price of the CD(shipping included) by itself.
11. Twenty Flight Rock (Montrose) - Another great guitar tune.
12. Won't Get Fooled Again (The Who) - A More Rockin' Version of this classic tune. Done ESP style.

This is a great CD from beginning to end, and more than likely, you'll know these tunes which is an added bonus. So, if you're in the mood for some truly Ass-Kickin' Rock N' Roll tunes, kick-back, grab a six-pack and crank some ESP. And I Mean CRANKED MUTHAF*CK*N' LOUD!!!
