Now Picture this...You're all alone in your house and all of a sudden a MACHINE GUN starts rippin'... BOMBS start going off...and you're in complete ECSTASY! That's exactly what happened the minute I popped this album in my player. Helloween's latest release is probably their heaviest yet, and I'm lovin' it!!

Helloween, the best Metal band that no one knows about. Helloween, the German band that picked up exactly where bands like Iron Maiden left off. And don't forget the GUITARS (We ARE in The House of Shred), ahhh Guitar Heaven...Helloween features the double Axe-Attack of Michael Weikath and the Amazing Roland Grapow. And their attack is RELENTLESS!! From beginning to end this album SHREDS!!! Their playing is so smooth and they complement each other greatly. Keep in mind that they are both accomplished lead GUITAR players.

Now, how many bands do you know of whose drummer can compose an awesome classical piece? Well, THAT and more is HELLOWEEN. That's how talented these guys are. The opener {Get ready for a long title} "Deliberately Limited Preliminary Prelude Period in Z" is that classical piece that I just mentioned. Composed by drummer Uli Kusch, this song serves as the "calm" before the STORM!! And a storm it is...but it never ends!

Songs like "Push," "Falling Higher" (MetalGod's Pick), "Hey God," "A Handful Of Pain" and "Midnight Sun" just take your head off. Kusch provides some of the SICKEST drumming ever put on record, and bassist Markus Grosskopf is shredding right along with him. And with Singer Andi Deris (Check out his Dickinson-like scream at the end of "Falling Higher") providing his best studio performance ever, this album can't miss. The momentum on this record is never lost, it's a never-ending ASSAULT of METAL. Yes it IS a METAL ALBUM. And it's heading directly for your SKULL!! Play It LOUD!!!
