Kenziner is a Neo-classical power metal band that features guitar wizard Jarno Keskinen shredding away on guitar, bass and keys along with vocalist Stephen Fedrick and drummer Dennis Lesh. Keskinen is a prominent player in the style of Yngwie Malmsteen, Vinnie Moore and Tony MacAlpine, and he plays some insane solos throughout Timescape. This record reminds me of old Alcatrazz as Fedrick sounds a lot like Graham Bonnet in his prime, and that's a good thing. Also, this CD was produced by shredder David T. Chastain which means that it's well-produced and that the guitars are always in your face!

I think a lot of Neo-classical and Shred Guitar fans will be very pleased with this record for it does not stray from that genre. It's not a very innovative CD, but it does not need to be because it's damn good. Jarno Keskinen is a master at his trade and his playing is really enjoyable, it shreds. Fans of Yngwie Malmsteen, Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow, Stratovarius and Melodic Euro-Metal will definitely have to pick this up.
