"We are Motorhead and we're going to kick YOUR ass!!" Anyone who ever saw Motorhead perform live will recognize and remember those words. Led by the legendary and always controversial Lemmy Kilmister, Motorhead have been kicking our asses for over 20 years. With their latest release, We Are Motorhead, the ass-kicking continues.

With this record, Motorhead pretty much stick to their formula of Punk-Metal that created such classics as "Ace of Spades" and "Metropolis". As usual Lemmy handles the vocals and bass playing in fiery fashion, the older the man gets the more he rocks!! Phil Campbell's guitar playing keeps getting better and better, and Mikkey Dee's drumming is always monstrous. Lemmy and company surprise us with a rockin' cover of The Sex Pistol's "God Save The Queen" and even more surprising is Lemmy's attempt at a love song, a power ballad that alone is worth the price of the disc.

Old-school Metal fans and Motorhead fans will definitely enjoy this CD. Also, to fans of the mockery that MTV dares to call Heavy Metal (Kid Suck, Limp Bizsuck, SucKorn, MetalliSuck, GodSuck, etc...) I say this: Pick up We Are Motorhead and see how it's really done!!
